Roland unveils System-8, VP-03, TB-03, TR-09 and DJ-808

Developer: Roland

tr-09Roland has announced today the System-8 Plug-Out Synthesizer, VP-03 Vocoder, TB-03 Bassline Synthesizer, TR-09 Drum Machine and DJ-808 DJ Controller.

Powerful and deep, the SYSTEM-8 delivers a vast palette of sounds inspired by over four decades of legendary Roland synths. Its next-gen Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) engine powers an eight-voice, three-oscillator monster with stunning filters and effects, highly versatile LFOs, and a massive array of high-resolution knobs and sliders to control it all. Support for three PLUG-OUT synths means the SYSTEM-8 can host spot-on recreations of numerous Roland classics, and JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106 PLUG-OUTS are even included with purchase.

The limited-edition Roland Boutique series of modules faithfully recreates some of Roland’s most legendary products. With highly-authentic sound reproduction, they’re also highly portable, with a built-in speaker and battery operation for making music whenever – and wherever – you want. New for 2016 are the TR-09, an ultra-compact recreation of the iconic TR-909 drum machine; the TB-03, a descendant of the famous TB-303 Bass Line Synth; and the VP-03, a miniature version of the VP-330 Vocoder Plus.

Serato and Roland announce the first DJ controller from Roland, the DJ-808. A professional 4-channel DJ controller with built-in drum sequencing, vocal processing, external instrument connectivity and deep Serato DJ integration.
